MADER forestry company, Ltd. arised in June 1999 as a company engaged in the complete processing of wood mass up to manufacture of final wood and sawdust products. The company operates its entrepreneurial acitivity at the manufacturing plant DŘEVOVÝVOBA in Ludvíkov, close to Vrbno pod Pradědem. It contains not only a wood processing operation but also hunting (and gamekeeping) services for huntsmen both from own employees and important business partners. MADER forestry company Ltd. is the family business without an external capital.

A modern history of wood production began in 1995, when the roundtimber cutting with a band saw and manufacturing of pallet trims were run by a current owner´s affiliated company. The present owner, the engineer of forestry, has got more than thirty years experience of a forestry management which he has driven up to building a modern and boom company together with his workmates, former long-time employees of an important wood plant in region, what has passed out of existence. The current plant is equipped with a new technology for a production, transport and thermal treatment of timber and products. Its annual capacity is about 4,000m3 of a round timber, at two-shift operation.

In 2003 the new technological productional line for manufacturing pelets was put into an operation. It is an ecology fuel made of sawdusts with an annual capacity of 3,500t, thereby the production became wasteless and environmental friendly. The main customers of wood products, i.e. wooden shells, pallets, transport containers – both standard and atypical, are major companies in Bruntál region. The pelets have been exporting mainly to Italy and Danmark and now to the Czech market too. Also small local buyers of timber and joiner timber are the regular and satisfied range of clients. In 2007 company branched out its business of a wide sortiment for builders, flooring, joiners, distribution and installation of central heating compound boilers both solid and pelets fuel for family houses. The company guarantees deliveries of pelets for a lifetime of boilers to the customer.

Since 2003 MADER, forestry company Ltd. has got following quality certificates: ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 IPPC certificate (thermic treatment – an impregnation from dry rot)
